Sculpture : Jane Wharrad

Jane seeks to depict happiness and romanticism in her work, to capture a fleeting moment and tell a small story of people and sometimes their animals, caught in off-guard spontaneity.

The process of working on a piece often makes her feel that she is just an observer, watching things take form and come to life.

She hopes the first reaction of someone seeing her work is a lightening of the heart.

Jane's work is available either from her existing range or as a commission. Prices start at £80. She has also recently started working in bronze.
